Demise of Mr Satyajit Mitra - a Director
Mr Satyajit Mitra, a non-executive Director of the Company, aged about 52 years, passed away on 15th October, 2006. He has been a member of the Board of the Company since 20th July,2002. He, being an independent Director, was also a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Board. During his tenure he rendered commendable service and provided invaluable advice to the company on various matters particularly in the area of legal matters.
A condolence meeting was held on 16th October, 2006 at the Registered Office of the company to pay homage and respect to the departed soul.
